providing monitoring, maintenance and energy management

We only service the commercial and industrial sectors currently.

Subject to the needs of the client, Circular Energy has capabilities to offer
solar power generation (on a behindthemeter basis), however, this will be
reviewed on a casebycase basis. Our preferred approach is to work with solar
developers and offer BatteryAsAService only.

The pricing mechanism will likely have two components:

A fixed charge for availability: similar to a capacity charge in a Power
Purchase Agreement (PPA), this is mainly charged to ensure availability
of the power backup source at all times and is likely to cover most of the
large fixed cost items including financing.

A cycling or variable charge for throughput: the degradation of a
battery is heavily determined by the number of times it has been
cycled. Hence where cycling of the battery occurs more often than
what has been assumed in the base case requirements for that site, an
additional cycling charge, (subject to the prescribed depth of
discharge) will be levied to cover the reduction in the battery’s
estimated useful life.

We embed sustainability by maximising battery lifespan, implementing
refurbishment (or repurposing) prior to responsible recycling on all our
contracts. Furthermore, by providing affordable energy solutions that reduce
reliance on diesel generators we minimise carbon emissions.
